YOU don’t think customer behaviour’s all that complex. If people need something, they’ll just buy it or find it somewhere else.

YOU think key performance indicators, sales analysis and inventory metrics are just corporate speak for ‘just make some money’.

YOU think whatever’s in the stock room can just be put on the shopfloor, because waste not want not, and this stuff sells itself.

YOU don’t feel the need to collaborate with the buying team on the OTB budget because you don’t know what OTB stands for and you don’t want anyone to find out.

YOU don’t see why you have to work with Brand Category Managers because you can just order what looks good and hope for the best.

YOU are not going to check inventory productivity because the public is so fickle, that there’s no point in trying to keep up with what they want.
